The BendMind system

Conventional MIDI workflows often reduce pitch bend to a wheel movement attached to one instrument. BendMind opens that control into a broader musical language: continuous or punctuated, stable or unstable, free-running or tempo-locked, subtle enough for wow and vibrato or forceful enough for dives, recoils and structural transitions.

Superimpose retriggerable Ringdown events over continuing pitch motion. Length, smoothing, depth and variation turn a single trigger into anything from a restrained recoil to a pronounced pitch gesture.

Linked Bend
When one pitch language needs to inhabit many instruments.
Once a gesture exists in BendMind, Linked Bend can distribute it across an arrangement. Set one BendMind to Leader + Local Output, then let full BendMind instances or the compact BendMind Follower receive the same 14-bit bend stream. The Leader continues to perform locally; each Follower retains its own notes, dynamics and timbre while accepting the shared pitch movement.

BendMind is deliberately specific about what it changes. Its intervention is pitch bend; ordinary MIDI note pitches and velocities pass through unchanged, allowing the original performance to remain intact while its pitch trajectory is reshaped around it.
- True Scope monitors the actual resulting signed pitch-bend signal, including sequenced Ringdown events.
- Invert, Phase, Smooth and Depth alter the character and direction of the pitch gesture without rewriting note data.
- Emergency Mute provides an immediate safety path for BendMind-generated activity.
